This is not really WLJ related but I needed to write it...
I downloaded Scotty McCreery's Christmas album to my phone the other day and one of the songs really struck me....hard. The first is 'Christmas in Heaven'. My dad loved country music and loved Josh Turner. I think that Scotty McCreery sounds a lot like Josh Turner even though Scotty McCreery is like 20 years younger than Josh Turner.
I've been thinking about my dad a lot lately and how he was always proud of whatever I did. When I feel like I'll never succeed at my WLJ or I just want to eat pizza all day, I think of how proud my dad was of me and I know I can do it because he always believed in me.
Christmas In Heaven
"Is the snow falling down on the streets of gold
Are the mansions all covered in white
Are you singing with angels "Silent Night"
I wonder what Christmas in heaven is like"
